Operating since 2019, the Creative Connections project improves wellbeing by supporting people to learn new skills and express themselves creatively, reducing social isolation, building support networks and friendships, and helping people build the confidence to try new things.
Our co-production model means that participants and artists learn from each other and share their experiences, ideas and different ways to make art. Participants are in the driving seat, selecting artforms and themes, designing exhibitions and working on personal creative projects. Our project partners have included Sight Support, Danny's Dream, The Disabilities Trust, Mencap & the NHS.
Creative Connections works across the city to bring art to everyone!
